Its a Cinch to loose an Inch

Hi everyone! This is a repost that I wrote on my old blog back in 2010. A lot of people have been asking me for the my whole weight loss story so here it is! I hope you enjoy it.

At the beginning of last year, I had just returned from a 4 month volunteer program in Germany.  I came back 20 pounds heavier, only to find that my clothes didn’t fit me anymore.

It was time to break out my big jeans. :(

I went from a size 12 to a size 15 / 16.  I couldn’t believe it!!!!

I tried everything from the Makers Diet, the Lemon Cleanse, to just eating healthier all together.

After a while I figured that I was at the weight that I should be and there was nothing else I could do.

I guess you can say that I kind of gave up trying! I told everyone that I was comfortable with my weight. 

I kept telling myself I would loose the weight without any problems, although I found that it is easier to put on weight than to take it off.

My Daily Routine.

I start  off everyday with one of Shaklee’s four delicious Cinch Shakes.  I mix one scoop of the protein powder with about 10 oz of milk. I drink my first shake around 8:00 A.M.

One container contains 15 meals, 2 scoops per meal.  One scoop fills me up for 3 to 4 hours.  I will tell you that the first few days I was on this diet I felt like I was still hungry and I wanted to eat more. I just wanted to eat something I wasn’t really hungry at all.  Every time I ate something with the shake I was so stuffed I felt like I just had a thanksgiving dinner.

I start to get hungry again around 3 or 3:30, that's when I grab a snack bar or a healthy snack.  I usually make a healthy snack when I am at home and save the Meal-in-a-Bar for when I am on the go or I don’t have time to pack a meal.

 

I eat dinner around 6:30 or 7.  I try to eat a balanced meal with a meat, a vegetable and a grain or potato.  I try not to eat anything after dinner because it is not healthy to go to bed on a full stomach.

My days vary from day to day but that is about it!

I try to change  up my diet with different kind of shakes and bars but I have to tell you that I have not and will not get tired of dinking the Cinch.

Whether I mix the Cinch with milk or put it in one of my shakes, I absolutely LOVE it!!!

My New Earing Holder

 

The other day I was walking through Goodwill and I came across this amazing little CD holder.  I picked it up and looked at it a little more, not that I have a ton of CDs any more, but because it caught my eye! I knew that I could use it for something and I couldn’t think of just what. I put it in my cart and continued to look around. By the time I got to the register I figured it out, I will use it as an earing holder! I was so excited that I wanted to share my amazing find with you.

What was once a simple CD holder,Is now a beautiful earing holder!It didn’t take long at all to transform this CD holder into a earing holder!I absolutely love it! Don’t you? It looks perfect on the shelf.

What Is Wellness?

What is the definition of wellness? We hear this word now more than ever but do we truly know what it means?

When people talk about wellness they think of it in terms of their financial situation, their mental state or their physical health.
